About the Role

Brand Ambassador Intern

Summary

The Brand Ambassador Intern supports Jaycon Systems' campus recruitment and employer-branding efforts by representing the company at university job fairs, career fairs, and other talent acquisition events, both on-site and virtually. Working under the guidance of the HR/Talent Acquisition team, the intern serves as an accessible, well-informed point of contact for students and prospective candidates, sharing Jaycon's culture, internship opportunities, and career paths in a way that reflects the company's professional reputation. This role contributes to building Jaycon's visibility and appeal on college campuses and strengthens the company's talent pipeline, while supporting rather than directing the recruitment decisions made by the HR team.

Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Represent Jaycon Systems professionally at assigned university job fairs, career fairs, and other campus recruiting events.
  2. Support the planning and on-site execution of recruitment events, including booth setup, distribution of recruitment materials, and candidate engagement.
  3. Participate in virtual career fairs, recruitment sessions, webinars, and information sessions on Jaycon's behalf.
  4. Support the HR/Talent Acquisition team in building and maintaining ongoing relationships with target university career centers, academic departments, and student organizations not limited to single event appearances.
  5. Assist in delivering brief company overview presentations, elevator pitches, or info-session talking points during tabling events, workshops, and student organization meetings.
  6. Engage directly with students and prospective candidates, providing accurate information about Jaycon's culture, internship program, and career opportunities.
  7. Answer general candidate questions and refer more specific or role-related questions to the appropriate member of the HR/Talent Acquisition team.
  8. Encourage qualified candidates to apply for Jaycon's open internship and entry-level positions.
  9. Support diversity-focused recruiting outreach at target institutions.
  10. Support the distribution of recruitment and company information materials at assigned events.
  11. Log candidate leads and event data consistently in Jaycon's designated tracking system
  12. Support candidate engagement and lead collection during events, and communicate collected information to HR promptly and accurately.
  13. Assist with preparation before recruitment events (reviewing talking points, confirming logistics and materials) and follow-up after events (candidate communication, lead handoff, material restocking).
  14. Prepare a post-event report after each university job fair, career fair, or recruitment event, documenting the event organizer and format, overall event experience, candidate engagement, and relevant outcomes along with recommendations for future participation, items to prepare in advance, lessons learned, and any areas requiring further attention. Each report should close with an assessment of how the event brought, or could bring, value to Jaycon's recruitment, employer branding, talent pipeline, or future hiring efforts.
  15. Communicate event observations and candidate feedback to the HR team to help inform Jaycon's ongoing campus recruiting strategy.
  16. Perform other recruitment or employer-branding activities as assigned by the HR/Talent Acquisition team.

Note: This role does not carry independent authority over recruitment or hiring decisions; all candidate evaluation and hiring determinations remain the responsibility of the HR/Talent Acquisition team and relevant hiring managers.
