How the Role Works (Day-to-Day Process)

The workflow varies by deliverable, but generally follows: Request Coordination → Content & Asset Review → Concept → Production → Review → Feedback & Revisions → Final Approval → Drive Organization.

  1. 1. Initial coordination. Coordinate directly with the requester to confirm the objective of the material, audience, required content, format and dimensions, platform or intended use, deadline and references. Clarify anything missing before starting.
  2. 2. Content & asset review. Review existing Jaycon materials in Google Drive (previous designs, brand assets, photography, renders, videos, icons, presentations) to keep consistency and avoid recreating assets.
  3. 3. Concept development. Define the visual direction using Adobe Creative Suite, AI image/video tools, AI assistants for content organization, copy, research and prompts, existing Jaycon assets and any other specialized tool the task requires. Canva is used only when a piece must be editable by a non-designer.
  4. 4. Design & production. Produce the piece following the workflow for its type:
  5. Social media: Topic → Concept → Copy & Assets → Design → Review → Delivery (check branding and mobile readability).
  6. Videos: Objective → Concept/Script → Assets → Editing/Generation → Review → Delivery (platform, duration, hook, storyboard, music, transitions, branding, audio and timing).
  7. Presentations: Content → Structure → Visual Direction → Slide Design → Review → Delivery (clear narrative, hierarchy, Jaycon photography, renders, diagrams and icons).
  8. Web design & web graphics: Requirement → Content Review → Visual/UX Direction → Asset Creation → Design → Review → Delivery (sections, landing pages, blog graphics, service pages, banners, cards, icons, diagrams; desktop and mobile).
  9. Guides & documents: Content → Organization → Layout → Visual Support → Review → Delivery.
  10. Banners & campaign graphics: Objective → Message → Concept → Design → Adaptations → Delivery (confirm placement, dimensions, CTA; export optimized versions).
  11. Other materials: one-pagers, case studies, flyers, infographics, email graphics, icons, diagrams, event materials, sales materials, internal graphics, and product and manufacturing visuals.
  12. 5. Delivery, feedback & revisions. Send the first version to the requester, apply revisions and resend until the piece is approved.
  13. 6. Final file management. Export the required final formats, keep the editable source file and store the approved version in the correct Jaycon Google Drive folder for future reuse.

Requirements

  1. Minimum 6 years of professional graphic design experience, including brand-level work.
  2. Advanced Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro and After Effects.
  3. Proven experience building or maintaining a brand identity system (brand book, typography, color, iconography, layout, composition).
  4. Strong social media design plus motion graphics and short-form video editing.
  5. Solid presentation and editorial layout skills.
  6. Web graphics experience and UI/UX sensibility; Figma.
  7. Ability to prepare production-ready files for print and manufacturing.
  8. Photo editing, retouching and product composition.
  9. Comfortable using AI image and video tools as part of the creative workflow.
  10. Strong written and spoken English and clear, proactive communication with technical and commercial teams.
  11. Highly organized with files, naming, versioning and deadlines; able to work independently in a remote setup.
  12. Reliable overlap with US Eastern Time business hours.

Nice to Have

  1. An active Behance and/or Dribbble portfolio is a strong plus.
