ERPNext Developer

Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated ERPNext Developer to join our team at Jaycon Systems. The ERPNext Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining ERPNext solutions to support business operations. This role involves customizing modules, developing scripts, integrating third-party applications, and optimizing workflows within ERPNext. The ideal candidate has strong technical expertise in the Frappe Framework, Python, and JavaScript, along with a deep understanding of ERP workflows in manufacturing and service environments.

Duties & Responsibilities

1. ERPNext Development & Customization Support:
2. Develop, customize, and maintain ERPNext modules based on business needs.
3. Design and implement new features using Python, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, the Frappe Framework, and open-source libraries.
4. Develop custom scripts, reports, and dashboards to enhance functionality.
5. Ensure system scalability, security, and data integrity.
6. Optimize ERPNext workflows to streamline business processes.
7. System Integration and API Development:
8. Develop and manage API integrations between ERPNext and third-party applications.
9. Automate business processes using REST APIs and webhooks.
10. Implement custom data synchronization between ERPNext and external databases or systems.
11. System Administration and Performance Optimization:
12. Maintain ERPNext servers, ensure backups, and monitor system health.
13. Troubleshoot performance issues and optimize system efficiency.
14. Manage user roles, permissions, and security settings in ERPNext.
15. Technical Support and Documentation:
16. Provide technical support for ERPNext-related issues.
17. Document all customizations, scripts, and development work for future reference.
18. Stay updated on ERPNext and Frappe Framework updates and implement relevant changes.
19. Utilize GitLab for source control management and document software information in Markdown format.

Necessary Skills & Knowledge

1. ERPNext certification or prior experience in an ERP implementation project.
2. Experience with cloud hosting services such as AWS.
3. Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker.
4. Proficiency in programming languages: C# (.NET), C++, JavaScript, Python, Bash, HTML, and CSS.
5. Proficiency in React, Python, JavaScript, and Frappe Framework.
6. Strong knowledge of MariaDB, Linux servers, and Git version control.
7. Experience in API development and system integrations.
8. Understanding of business processes like Manufacturing, Inventory, Sales, and HR in ERPNext.

Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2. Minimum 2+ years of experience in ERPNext development and customization.

3. System Stability: Percentage of uptime and minimal disruptions caused by customizations.
